<p>The University of Cape Coast (UCC) Law Journal is a biannual peer-reviewed journal entirely dedicated to legal scholarship. The subject fields span all areas of law and other studies with socio-legal implications. The Journal invites submissions from around the world in interdisciplinary, methodological, and theoretical perspectives of law. The subject fields span all areas of law and other studies with socio-legal implications.</p> <p>The Journal invites submissions from around the world in interdisciplinary, methodological, and theoretical perspectives of law for its Volume 4 Issue 2 edition. Manuscripts of sufficient standard will be read independently by the editors and at least two reviewers.</p> <p>All submissions should be sent to the editors (<a href="mailto:ucclj@ucc.edu.gh">ucclj@ucc.edu.gh</a>) in DOC format or via the Journal’s online platform (<u>https://journal.ucc.edu.gh/index.php/ucclj/about/submissions</u>).</p> <p>This journal provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge. The Journal is governed by the publication policy of the University of Cape Coast.</p> <p><strong>Manuscript Submission Guidelines</strong></p> <p>Word limits for manuscripts vary according to the section and nature of the subject of work. The following, therefore, serve only as guidance. All word counts are inclusive of footnotes.</p> <p>Articles ---- 6,500-12,500</p> <p>Case Reviews ---- 1,500-3,000</p> <p>Book Reviews ---- 500-1,500</p> <p>Manuscripts should also be accompanied by an abstract of no more than 250 words.</p> <p><em>House Style</em></p> <p>All manuscripts must be written in English and conform to the Oxford Standard Citation of Legal Authorities (OSCOLA).</p> <p>The manuscript must also be submitted in standard A4 format in 12-point, Times New Roman with double-spacing in the text body, and in 10-point, Times New Roman with single-spacing in the footnotes and quotations. The title and the name of the author(s) should be centered, and in title case.</p> <p><em>Proof</em></p> <p>Authors will be sent page proofs by email. They should check the same thoroughly, return any corrections or revisions, and reply with any questions to the editors.
