  • The abstract must concisely state the purpose, methodology, main findings, and implications.
  • Provide 4 to 6 keywords to facilitate indexing and search.

3. Language Style
Submissions must be written in British English. Authors are encouraged to ensure that language is inclusive and free from gender, racial, or other forms of bias.

4. Title and Author Information

  • The title should be concise and informative, avoiding abbreviations. Full author names and institutional affiliations must be included.

7. Referencing Style
JOBED follows the APA 6th edition referencing style. All references cited in the text must be listed in the reference section and vice versa.

8. Peer Review Process

  • All submissions undergo a double-blind peer review process.
  • Manuscripts are first screened by the editorial board. Suitable manuscripts are reviewed by at least two external experts.
  • Review decisions include: accept, accept with minor/major revisions, or reject.

Reviewers evaluate based on:

  • Clarity and presentation of the study.
  • Depth and relevance of literature analysis.
  • Appropriateness and quality of methodology.
  • Validity of data analysis and statistical rigor.
  • Soundness of discussion, conclusions, and implications.
  • Overall contribution to the field.
  • Relevance to the journal’s scope.

9. Copyright and Licensing

11. Ethical Considerations

  • Manuscripts must not contain plagiarised content.
  • Authors must disclose any conflicts of interest.
  • All studies involving human participants must state compliance with ethical standards.

12. Use of Artificial Intelligence (AI)
The Journal of Business and Enterprise Development (JOBED) acknowledges the growing role of Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Grammarly, language models) in research and writing. However, to maintain academic integrity and transparency, authors must adhere to the following:

a) Disclosure
Authors must clearly disclose the use of AI tools in the methodology or acknowledgements section of the manuscript if such tools were used for content generation, language editing, coding, data analysis, or literature assistance.

b) Authorship
AI tools cannot be listed as authors. Authorship implies accountability, which AI systems cannot assume. Authors are fully responsible for the accuracy, originality, and integrity of all content, including that which may have been AI-assisted.

c) Permitted Use
AI tools may be used to support language improvement, proofreading, or idea development, provided their use does not involve plagiarism, data fabrication, or unattributed paraphrasing.

d) Citation of AI Tools
If AI tools significantly contributed to a section (e.g., generated summaries or draft content), authors should cite them appropriately as:
“Content in this section was generated with the assistance of [AI Tool Name], a large language model developed by [Company], and subsequently edited by the authors.”
